It's because the Pub is so fucking PC while OTD allows a person to express him/herself. The Pub is great if you want to read a bunch of feel good posts while OTD is more representative of life.

yeah but the only problem is that you can not get answers in OTD unless your one of the guys

I find this to be somewhat true as well, I like both forums for the most part, if I had more time I would post in OTD more because I like many of the regulars quite a bit!

I hope someday members of both forums will be able to go back and forth between both forums and just enjoy there time at the Shroomery.

I love DK, but fail to see the connection. Everything I've posted in the pub has been widely accepted. And I am definatley not what one would concider a "hippy" (althought I do get along with them quite well) While on the other hand any time I post something in OTD everybody is extremely rude about it.

..I don't like OTD, they just flame you about anything you post no matter what, and make rude comments about your family members they do not even know...etc...but to each thier own I guess.. :shrug:

The problem with a few OTDers is they dont have enough class to keep scat/garbage in OTD where it belongs....
I look at it this way...If i came into the PUB with some gross stupidity then im really showing no respect for the mods in here

I have nothing personal against a lot of people that post in OTD, but they just go way to far to offend someone to the point they almost get banned, or make them feel unwanted...that is why I don't post in there anymore...whatever i said in there in the past is the past...some of the people there drove me to say what I did...that is why I did...

I like them both.

otd is fun
but can get really boring
and usually reminds me of jr. high.

the pub has more conversation
but sometimes topics can be held back.

sometimes I like to drink beer
sometimes I like to have some vodka.
sometimes I like to just stay in & read.
