It is a lot weaker than the 9.0 quake. The scale is logarithmic.

That's funny, I got the info for the first post from CNN, I knew I should've just went to FOX news for an accurate first report.
That's quite a quake anyhow.

CNN is reporting both because of a difference in measurements. It will take a while before the definite number is determined.

My guess is no Tsunami. These things move fast and should have hit Indonesia already.
