There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

It's a classic. And the previous sentence goes without saying, as does the following. It's my favorite movie.

It was on TV a while ago.

I started watching it but then had no idea what the fuck was going on... I eventually turned it off. Didn't seem like such an amazing film to me.

A very good movie (and book). It is very philosophical believe it or not.

I believe when the movie was first screened, it was banned in the great britain as so many groups emerged that wanted to practice a bit of the ultra violence

It's not Russian slang- Burgess borrowed elements of lots of languages to create the Nadsat terms used in his book. There are some parts borrowed from Russian, Latin, English, Esperanto, etc.
