I was just re-reading the old PF bust story and decided to do some Googling to find out a bit more about that dude and what he's up to these days.  This is what I came up with:
Index of /~mcpherson  [Directory listing -- there doesn't seem to be any obvious index page]

It seems to be Robert McPherson's (a.k.a. Psilocybe Fanatacus's) person web page and contains some writings (on biblical history, Stonehenge, etc...), his musical biography (including a pic from his days in the Air Force), and a full write-up on the court case including the bust and a lot of commentary. 

Here's a preview :smile:


The pages are hosted by his local ISP but I don't think a few hundred (at the most) extra hits in a day will be too much of a load.  I hope not anyway.  I'm a bit reluctant to post this here because one of the pages contains his phone number and address.  On the other hand, I'm sure PF can handle some asshole kid's prank calls or unwanted house-calls like so many Russians on a barrel of vodka (or something...).

just post the interesting content by uploading it to the shroomery
and remove the link that contains personal information.

You should email him, let him know that his shit is accessable from the web and that you're interested in alot of it.
Ask his permission to post it - not that you have to, just to be polite.

he's right, it is published, or else it woulnt be on the internet... it's just not well known, but if you put something on the internet, well, then you know anyone can access it.

the only reason this got grabbed is cuz google someone grabbed
it while crawling.

I don't think that he'd appreciate all this stuff floating out there,
ESPECIALLY if it's got personal information on it.

I'm all about fair game, but I'd rather err on the side of safety
for this dude.

A taste from the preface of his book (for a Good Friday :smile: )

... The real reason for the success of the New Testament and the Christian religion is that the teachings of Jesus himself recorded in the New Testament are a work of genius.  The "red letter" edition of the Bible is where to find the words of Jesus as recorded.  The words in "red" are Jesus speaking and all of the rest of the words are those of the narrator or writer of the book.  It is not known if the words in "red" are actually those spoken by the master.  But to be sure, they are the words of the master designated by the narrator or author of the gospel. Jesus' words are unique and in all the realm of spiritualistic teachings, there is nothing even close to their sublimity.  When Jesus actually taught, what lived on was his amazing teachings.  The resurrection and all the miracles have to be accepted on faith, while the teachings need no faith - just a mind to understand them is all that is required, with no faith - just reason.  They are all written down on paper to be studied and learned, whilst the resurrection and miracles of Jesus are nowhere to be found except in the heart.
