I'd rather eat meat too...but after having my heart attack I was told to eat more fish.
So I eat alot of fish now!~

I like to fish in Lakes, Rivers, Beaver ponds, the Sound, the Ocean...pretty much fish everywhere.

One day at Rattlesnake Lake my cousin and I caught over 90 of these bad boys.
We were getting hits so much...it was hard to light up a smoke.
That day will always be remembered...we were trolling a gold Luhr Jensen Hot shot.
Of course we only kept our limit...so I do release some.

But I'm more of a catch and fillet type of guy...I love fresh Trout and Steelhead...its the best.
Halibut is my favorite of all fish.


Now for a funny story that happened at Rattlesnake Lake.

We were trolling...and I got a fish on the line.
So I started reeling in this nice fish...he came up to the surface...it was about 20 yards from the boat.
And then the next thing I see is this Osprey diving at my fish...from out of the air.
The Osprey picks up my fish in its tallons and starts to fly away with my fish.
I try reeling in as fast as I can...to no avail.
I start hearing the whirl of my line going out really fast...and he is flying off with my fish.
My buddies are laughing...all the other people fishing are laughing...all the people at the park on shore are laughing.
I cut the line loose...didn't want him to spool me...since I still wanted to fish some more.
He flys off with my fish, my lure, and about 60 yards of line.

I'm pissed!~
One of my buddies is saying..."I wish we had a camera or camcorder...that was priceless".
I felt like throwing him overboard.

I'm screaming I hope that fricken bird chokes on that lure.

I calmed down and blew it off.

I'll probably never see another Osprey steal a fish like that...it was something to see.
The Osprey needed the fish more than me...so its all good.
And I have a wonderful fish story to tell from the experience.
