First Hike of the year

Today I packed the essentials for survival, first aid/emergency kit, rain jacket, sleeping pad and oh cant forget the herb and a gram of dried cubies.

I started out at about 10:00am and got to the trail head by half past. Found a nice place to sit down and chomped down on my bagel.

I was chillin smoking a bowl of SAGE when I got a shot of this dog. He came at me a bit and barked but then its owner gave him shit.

Here is a nice little piece of some type of stonecrop(?)

I had to hike pretty far up to find snow and this is all that there was :smile:

Here is a nice shot of the north end of town with Okanagan Lake in the background.

I found this little pond, it dries up in summer though, I wanted to use it as a water source for my plants, but oh well :smile:

First hike of the year was a great success, happy trails to all :smile:

...oh you are making me have nature "withdrawals" I need to go visit mother nature...ahh I think it is going to snow here tonight...oh well maybe in a few weeks or less it will be all nice and warm...
