Hehe, j/k. That is how I always tease the guys in the studio :wink: If one of them makes a really super cool piece and don't break it before it makes it to annealer, I'll say that it didn't suck too much.

Glass is fun, keep up the good work! All us gaffer's are proud of you  :thumbup:

Sure is! I assume you're talking about lampworking- where you have a small torch, and not glassblowing where you have a large furnace. If you're a 'glassblower' you need to be doing it full time and cranking out lots of good stuff just to afford your furnace costs!

Lampworking costs lots to start (did you say your starter kit was about $700 Zippoz?). The main maintenance costs will be your gas and your glass/color after that, which aren't nearly as bad. If you're good and have a good market to sell to it can be a profitable endeavour. Some of us just consider it a fun thing to do  :grin:  :thumbup:

Damn I'm jealous. The only glass pipe, and the only smoking implliment I own aside from papers, for that matter, broke yesterday. I was sitting in a computer chair when it slipped out the hole in the side of the muff on my hoody and shattered on the floor.

This has not been a good year for glass for me. First, I loaned a "buddy" a pipe, since I had 4 things to smoke out of, and it was no stress. Then he got that one taken by the cops and mysteriously vanished from town.

Then my vaporizer broke. Then my roor got smashed in a strange turn of events. Then, finally, my steam roller broke last night.

I dunno what's up with my luck, but nice glass.
