chapter 1- in the beginning

in the beginning, there was the heaven and the earth. the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. and god said, "let there be the mushroom, so that man may eat of them and get a little taste of heaven before taking the long voyage that will one day bring him home. home, here with me in heaven, as it should be" and there was the mushroom, and god saw that it was good.

in the beginning, there was also bubblelicious, and cigs....but no pop rocks. there was a walk to the 7-11 through the jungle on slanted sidewalks.

there was the cool darkness that is san diego on february night. there was the moon, the stars, the trees, and everything else that god had included in his masterpiece called nature. there was laughter, the sweet and innocent laughter of a child, as he finds amusement in the simplest of things.

in the beginning there was this and so much more. like a wonderful ride through willy wonkas chocolate factory, an amazing new discovery around every corner. there were good friends, old and new to accompany me, to guide me, to comfort me, as i take this walk into the familiar unknown.

ive been there before, but yet everything feels so new. there was something different this time. im not exactly sure what it was at this time, in the beginning, but later i would find out that it was the presence of god...or at least, my image of what god is/should be. for some reason unknown to me, god had decided to take time from his busy schedule, and hang out with me and my friends that friday night in san diego.

but god is not the topic right now, i will get into the topic of god and how he had affected my trip later on. right now, the topic is the beginning, and how it came to be. a genisis of sorts.

i had come to san diego that weekend to go to a rave with 40, his new gurlyfriend, and another one of his local friends, chris. oxygen was supposed to drive out and join us, but as circumstance would have it he didnt make it. neither did doobs, who was thinking about hitching a ride with oxygen to check out the rave. so right off the bat there was a little disappointment. i would have loved to share this experience with them.

the disappointment soon faded as i arrived to 40s house. we wandered into his room and i made myself comfortable by snuggling up in his lovesack,

but only after i made sure my 8 little babies were safe and sound for the next night. i had brought these pills up from tucson, hidden in between my butt cheeks as i pass through the security check point before boarding the plane. they werent there for long, but it was still a very uncomfortable experience. they rested there only for a minute or two, just long enough for me to walk through, grab my things, and head to the bathroom like i had to take a monster shit.

so us 3 were sitting around bullshitting and what not, while 40s girlfriend slept. she slept through most of my trip, apparently she was still recovering from a trip the night before.

and it comes to my attention that there were some shrooms to be eaten. so, i kindly ask if 40 would share some of his little Psilocybe weiliis (that 2experimental was so kind enough to send to 40....a huge thanx to this man!) and of coarse, he helped a brutha out. also a big thanx to this man, ive already thanked him plenty of times but one more thank you never hurt anyone, right?

so i pigged out on 3 grams of these little guys and over the coarse of the next 4 or 5 hours or so, i had the best trip ive ever had. i have so much to write about, so many events that i still have to piece together. it is going to take me a while to write this trip report, and it is going to be massive long...so i decided i would throw out little bits at a time, this being the first chapter in this epic trip. tune in next week for chapter two, where i will go into detail about the come up...spending alot of time talking about 40s tie dye sheet that hes got hanging on his ceiling. :grin:
