I can see the headlines now on CNN .... Man dies today cause of death still undertermined coroner says he died from putting up with to much shit from women.

I have this girl I have had a crush on for over 3 years now. We hang out all the time, now that I have no girlfriend, and go to the movies and shit like that. I went to her house last night and another frined of ours was over there. Well after taking the other friend back home we chilled at her house and talked and watched t.v. I thought excellent I can finally atleast tell her how I feel even ther eis now chance in hell. Well before I could do that she starts to talk about this other guy and how great he is and how she wants him and all this other shit ... so like a dumbass I sit there and listen and don't say a word about how I feel. We were up till like 3 in the morning talkign about her other guy. This really bugs the shit out of me ( that I haven't told her about how I feel ). I didn't sleep all night and I'm supposed to be in class right now but I'm in the library typing this. I just want to go drive because driving is how I take care of all pain. I drive and clear my head.


I'm a nice guy and damn it I hate finishing Last every damn it in every goddamn situation in my life.

:grin: i think the trend of the past few months is soon to change for me... i haven't been in a relationship (beyond a few nights) for the past 6 months, and i haven't been in a serious relationship for the past year. but i'm trying to work some magic with a friend of a friend now, and i think it's working... it's very crazy, though, as she is the first girl that i've been together with without speaking any english to her (she is norwegian). when i get very stoned i get into this existential crisis, wondering if me in norwegian is the same person as me in english...

Look, she is your friend.

Be honest with her. It shouldn't make a difference unless you overreact if she says "No". You may not get together instantly, there IS this other guy, but you won't have to wait for another 3 years. Simple honesty man... simple honesty. If she freaks out, it wasn't meant to be... not now, at least.

How many people have had feelings for her for 3 years? I bet you are in the minority. That type of thing FEELS GOOD to hear. Don't hide your feelings from your friend. Let her do what she wants with the truth, but don't hide it from her.

Be honest with her to move foreward. Don't expect her to say, "Yes" just now, just be honest to start moving the process foreward. It may take another 3 years, but at least you won't be waiting in the wings.

What does this have anything to do with my post ?? She treats me like a god because we are excellent friends. I have dignity and self-respect. It just gets to me that I care enough about her not to complicate her lifebmy telling her my feelings for her. I know nothing will ever come between us except good friends. I would just like to tell ehr so I have no regrets or what if's later on in life.
