HOLY FUCK

MY NOSE JUST Started dripping blood... lots of it and fast for no apparent reason... i think its from this cold i have...today at work it was like i had no snot in my nose and it was all stingie... you know the kind... well, it was like 24 degrees and im sure that didnt help none... i went to the bathroom and leaned my head over the sink and it was aLL DRIPPIN....ITS TRUE ABOUT BIENG FREAKED SEEING THAT MUCH BLOOD(stupid caps)....anyway, i blew my nose, and it was all snotty and dark... i'll take a pic if it in a second... anyway, it was wierd, cause i couldnt taste any of the blood, so i haucked a loogie, and thier was blood in it... but it was definetly coming from my nose, cause when i tilted my head back to look in the mirror up my nose... i got a major rush of blood go down the back of my throat... i certainly could taste it then... 

ok, typing with 2 hands agian, i think it's stopped...  i was all scared thinkin some crazy shit happened... i'll go take that pic now...  :mad2:

Weird, my boyfriend had a very similar bloody nose experience this morning. We were getting up to get ready for the day and suddenly... blam turn on the blood faucets.

yea, it was definetly like a blood faucet... and i'm not doing it to proove anything,  it's just been such a long time since i've done a pictorial :grin:

here's the sink after i washed it out the first time.. imagine like 5x that almost covering the whole sink, after 1 nose blow into the sink, and like 20 seconds of letting it drip while switching tissue


here's some of the various tissues i used


and heres a closeup of one i blew my nose into, the blood isnt as dark or thick as it started, cause it soaked thru a bit... the dark blobs are thick snot that formed instalty in the nose

having blood gush like that was scarry as hell, especialy when it wouldnt stop, and then when i tilted my head back and it went all down the back of my throat... then i kept hauckin dark bloody loogies in the sink.... i was thinkin i had to go to the hospital or something... scarry as hell... and it just kept coming... right after i blew my nose/blood directly into the sink, it was still drippin... so i knew the thing ment buisness...

no, i dont smoke...

it's stopped now... all crusty inside... i'm going back to sleep...

anyone know why this would happen all of a sudden? i was laying in bed watching tv, and i came out to the living room, sat down, and felt a runny nose out of my right nostiral... so i had a tissue handy cause of my cold, and i saw a large dark red spot on it, and it kept coming and coming... the first pic doesnt do justice to how much blood thier was... if you look at the top left, you'll see a speck from when i washed it... it was all the way up there with blood... and when i blew my nose to clear the blood, the snot made a huge bubble out of my nose, the diamater of a quarter, and it was all red... it was funny and gross at the same time...

it could be very well that you did burst a vein in your nose from heavy blowing of the nose :grin:

one way of stopping nose bleeds...lean your head back and pinch the bridge of your nose..it'll make the blood clot, you'll have hte clot go down your throat but at least it'll stop the nose bleed.

i used to get nose bleeds quite a lot when the weather is hot. they cotterized a vein in my nose and since then, no more nose bleeds.

that happened to my bro a few weeks ago. we were on the way to the store and his nose started GUSHING blood for 15 minutes straight. It was such a mess and SOOO much blood. I've never had a nose bleed that bad before, mine have always ended very quickly.

i checked the internet about nosebleeds and it told me not to tilt your head back, so the blood doesnt go down your throat and into your lungs and such....  and in theory, it wouldnt stop your nose bleed, it would only divert the blood into your lungs  :crazy:

while all this was happening, i was reminded of my grandma's boyfriend who died, and they found him hunched over the kitchen sink, naked, with blood covering his face, and all around his apartment.... hmm, i dont remember finding out what he died from, but it was scarry shit the rate the blood was coming out...

hehe nevermind that other post, i know that it was more serious than a regular one, i was just playin around. my mom used to get stuff like that, and she did have to go to the hospital. there is probably something behind that to cause something worse than normal to happen like that you know. dunno though..
