That's really true about using E in large group settings. Doing it with someone you are really close with, or doing it alone, is different.

I've done it alone, and I've done it with one person, two people, etc... My opinion still stands.

Haha, this thead is pretty great. But it looks like E has this incredibly hard to break sterotype of "love drug". I didn't really know that when I took E for the first and only time so far. I didn't really have any clue what to expect and so I just made my own opinions on it. And I'd have to say it is BY FAR my favorite substance. By far. I've had good acid trips, I've had good mushroom trips, but when you want to look at..let's see..the idea of fake that everyone is talking about. Whew, gonna get myself crucified here in a sec. Why is it that feelings you feel on MDMA are more fake than feelings you feel on LSD? Can you really say that you are in tune with infinity when you wake up in the morning? No you can't, because you don't feel that way. LSD makes you feel a certain way temporarily and so does MDMA. Let's not lie to ourselves. Yeah people go to raves and stare like zombies and get raped and all this other shit, but people do stupid shit on acid.

Take MDMA for what it is. It's an amazing substance that makes you feel like you just cannot feel without it. It's a gift, it's a luxury. It's a modern superdrug that meets utopian standards. You can't feel better than on E. Try to ignore all this clown about "love drug, love your fellow man, touchy feely cry cry". That's just the sterotype it has. Eat it, enjoy your 4 hours and consider it 20 bucks well spent.

(tangent here - MDMA I consider already to be the equivalent discovery of LSD. People here are going to bitch, but I think it's true. It's not the same. LSD gave people a reason to think outside the box, MDMA is just another generation's LSD with different effects for different times.)

I wasn't necessarily disagreeing with you. People talk about it making you more real but in fact it does make you fake. However, I've had experiences with it that have in fact brought me closer to someone. I guess it really depends on the person. As is the case with most drugs, it effects different people differently.

I don't believe I'm "in tune with infinity" (whatever that's supposed to mean) when I'm on acid. MDMA is the only drug I've taken that has temporarily changed my opinions about things in a completely irrational way.

Yes, it can be fun, and it can be used safely, but so often it's not. It's just too easy to have fun on it. Usually when someone starts over doing acid, they'll have some nasty trips and lay off, but I've seen a lot of people abuse the hell out of E and show some permenant after effects.

I think E and coke are about equally dangerous. Back in the 70's, coke was considered safe and non-addicting, with no real side effects. Things change.

Oh I'm not saying E is safe, I'm saying it's a drug that is indeed TOO GOOD for it's own good. You can't just be like "man, that sucked. I'm done with E" because of the E. You can only learn that it sucks from abusing the shit out of it and wrecking your life.

It scares me that I haven't stopped thinking about it in 4 days.

How can you not know what I'm talking about when I say "in tune with infinity". That's like the most common acid trip theme ever. "We are all one" "Everything is nothing and everything" blah blah blah blah. None of them mean anything unless you're on acid.

You can't see something that does not exist.

There is no such thing like "fake love" It is only you who baptize it fake.Love is always around you, you just have to keep on looking and empowering your visualization of the love vibes.

The reason that you & your friends don't feel the love after the experience, is because you don't believe you can.

There is nothing that you can feel during an MDMA trip that can't be felt while sober.

All you have to do is transfer the values of the MDMA trip to everyday reality...

...and you can stay high for ever.

This is not some alien theory, it is pure mechanics.

If you proove to yourself that there is nothing different from MDMA intoxication and sobriety, you destroy the limits of your perception.

It's all a matter of convincing yourself.

ON MDMA

3.You give love and comparisson priority
4.You think for other people as if you where them
5.You forgive
6.You spend time to help others

Do these while sober and tell me how it feels.

You are right to an extent. Love (the crazy, initial kind) is actually a form of psychosis, evidently.
Where as the more long lasting kind activates parts of the brain that are, in example, associated with reasoning, logics, and common sense.

So if you can put yourself into a psychosis, go for it!

Well? Which one is it? IS there a difference between sobriety and MDMA-intoxication? I certainly think so.

I think you entirely missed the point of what I was saying. What I was getting at is that I don't need, or want, MDMA just to produce this feeling I call "love". I am fully capable of loving without the influence of mind-altering substances, and so I chose to do my loving while not under the influence of a drug that "forces" this Love feeling upon me.

there is a huge up and comming rave where i live it is called luv2k it is going to be nuts... i tried E for the first time a week ago and i rolled balls... it was the most mind blowing experiance i have had in a while TRY IT!!!! and your first time is you best time SAVOR IT!

ecstacy was originally known as empathy in that you really can love anyone when on the drug because of your ability to empathize with them. yes, it can be fake at times and i have experienced that but it is also one of the best ways to truly grow close to someone and just let stuff go. it was used in hospitals for that purpose and obviously it works. i say it can be used as a party drug and is so much fun but nothing beats ecstacy with someone that you truly love!
