From what I have read it seems that pH and contams will stop a grow from flushing before the mycelium will use up the nutes. Is it possible to balance the pH well enough to encourage the myc to use up all of the nutes? Also, which nutes would be the first used up? I would imagine the carbs, especially the simple sugars. Then again could be nitrates.

Are there any posts with lists of nutrients consumed by shrooms? Possibly a chemical analysis of soil before and after mushroom flushing. (I know it probably wouldn't be done on by someone one here, wondering about a research project at a university or something, p.cubes or even strains of edibles.)

Thats why we add long term buffers like calcium carbonate or oyster shell powder ect to our casings. As the mycelium secretes its acidic wastes, the calcium carbonate works to keep the pH balanced and neutral.. The higher pH is bad for green and good for mushies. Make sure you get a form of buffer thats powdered..not just crushed. Eggshells, oyster shells, chalk, ect will all work.

Ask agar about specific nutrients. I havnt seen any papers or to much actual reaseach done on it but agars compost post had the most specific nute info I've personally seen. Theres a few who can give you a better answer on this question though.
