I thought the whole concept and creation of the movie was beautifully thought out....! I did watch it tripping, and sat wondering in amazement and marvel of someone actually thinking out such complexities and twists.... What will they think of next...?

yeah i remember the director commenting that they had to come to the part when the kid grows up and ashton comes into the movie quickly. after all, this is hollywood and people want to see ashton right?
I liked the first parts of the movie more before he entered the scene

punkd guy? teh kid who burned teh dog? one sick fucker....he shoulda stayed in jail after he killed the loony, he probably would have gotten out. stay in solitary.
watched it agian this morning. neat flick. i wont watch a movie i never seen before tripping again though. its just weird.
i agree a couple parts were rushed (ending mainly). i too liked it better in teh kid part, but cant stay young forever.

at least your honest
definatly a depressing movie. im disliking the ending more and more. with all the twists tehy could have doen somthing a little more interesting. pretty predictable. and why do hollywood always leave with a "happy" ending....the first big sad ending i bet will make such a stirr among people.

Did you watch the director's cut? At the end he watches a video of his pregnant mother and goes back to when he was in his mom's womb and strangles himself with the umbilical cord.

I have a great dislike for this movie for some reason. I thought the story was mediocre yet tried desperately to be deep. (My opinion)
Visually (Purely asthetic level) I thought some of the effects were spiffy, but they alone couldn't hold the movie.
I to thought the ending felt a bit rushed.
Oh well though, to each his own. I'm certainly guilty of liking movies my friends don't.

well i have this thing for movies and if find them ok i watch them over and over. when i was young (4-7) my mom tells me i watched wizard of oz literally every day during those years. we apperently went through 4 copies of the beta/vhs. is till love that movie. its the same today, i often watch the same couple dozen movies over and over...it drives my friends/family nuts.
funny thing is i still notice new stuff
