I bought 2 salvia plants from two separate online entheobotanical retailers. They both died within 1 week(insufficient roots?) Then I bought one from http://www.b-and-t-world-seeds.com/ - when it arrived it had a very strong root system, but the main stalk had been cut off, leaving only a couple of leaves. I planted it. The remaining leaves and stalk died off, then a new stalk came up. The plant is now ~2 feet high and the new shoot was completely adapted to room humidity.

Well, there are so many interesting things you could grow inside. Nothing have effects like s. divinorum, but they are still interesting. You might want to look into: catha edulis mitragyna speciosa psychotria viridis turbina corymbosa scutellaria latiflora brugmansia sanguinea sceletium tortuosum

I had quite a but of trouble growing s. tortuosum - they got to about 1.5" high, then died/uprooted themselves. Cactus potting compost is a must... good luck =) IudexK

What climate zone are you in? What are your soil conditions? Are you growing indoors or out? What kind of light does your garden get? How exposed is it to street traffic or nosey neighbors? If you could answer a few of these questions it would be easier to help you select some plants.

you don't need to kill the plant to harvest caapi, and btw before you have enough material to be harvested several years must pass.... and also is a wonderful plant...trust me...go for it
