you are sadly mistaken if you think the dialogue in talk shows is all fresh and live

It's not written word-for-word before hand, but the guest knows what the questions will be and has already figured out what they're going to say (usually with help from agents and writers)

edit: Also, my theory on celebrities is that they exist now to lead interesting lives so most of america doesnt have to. Everyone just watches and reads about the shenanigans celebrities get into, and simply reading about it is enough for most people not to be bothered by the fact that their own life is dull and devoid of any real "life".

(the majority of celebrities are) vapid, ignorant, oblivious, detached, fake, etc. people who are worshipped for no apparent reason and are sadly influential. fuck celebrity gossip, news, lives, etc. who fucking cares?

We should kick their agents in the nuts. :nutkick: and let them talk for themselves.
Boo to the machine.  :badcomputer:

I have a hard time watching celebrities...even on awesome shows like the Daily Show. They just seem so...rehearsed. And boring.

I personally can't stand prime-time tv garbage. I start to get a stomach ache when someone turns on the real-world (I had a hard time even typing that). Same goes for the radio. I never listen to it, Only my CD's. I am starting a commune pretty soon where we don't have to put up with any of this stuff. JK.

But I do wonder if there are celebrities out there that are regular trippers. I wouldn't doubt it. I would just like to know who. I think it would be pretty cool to trip with a cool celebrity, if I knew who the cool ones really were....

Television shows like Conan Obrien usually do a rehearsal, test some jokes, warm the studio audience up, make sure the house band is all set. Also the celebrity guest and the host go over the material.

I've just kinda slowly stopped watching TV. I used to watch it for hours. Now just music, drumming, and a wee bit of the drugs seems to be what i like to spend my time with.

But yeah, i don't like celebrities, but only because of shows like ET and all that bullshit programming. It's like people think celebrities are better than themselves or something... they just have more money, not more worth. :strokebeard:
