what do you mean "easy way to use the bark" ..... theres essentially 2 different ways to take it... extract and smoke or make ayahuasca..... and there is like 100,000 posts and documents on the net about using mimosa hostillis. so start reading.... :smirk:

Ott has mentioned that mimosa may be active on it's own, check out erowid for info on it (probably in the ayahuasca vault) :wink:

mimosa active on its own, thats interesting, any info? ive only really heard that about A. Colbrina and A.Peregrina and of course most extractions use M. Hostilis

Mimosa Hostilis and the Mimosa trees your Granny has are probably not the same. Do some research.

It is the rootbark which contains a majority of the sought alkaloids.

If this tree your granny has is actually the hostilis species, harvesting the roots could be less than optimal for the health of the tree. I would not recommend hacking up her tree to get high.
