Fox originally cancelled family guy because they said it wasn't funny. Now that everyone loves it, theyre all back on its nuts.

If I was Seth Macfarlane, Id tell Fox to fuck off.

yes family guy and southpark are very much different. southpark, believe it or not, is much more mature then family guy. i love them both though.

sweet i think they should put the new family guy on comedy central :grin: then almost all my fav tv shows will be on one network (just need to get the simpsons on there too)and then I wont need my remote

yeah simpsons are on season 16, that is near-impossible. but that would be awesome if they became a staple for seasons to come, not just another in&out. family guy and simpsons are my #1&#2 favorite shows so i see a connection myself.

Nothing will run as long as the Simpsons- at least no sitcom. It's the champ! And that's because it's the best. You see the correlation?

And I'm so stoked to see some new Family Guy. I just hope they don't change it too much from how it was when it originally aired. It was too funny then, and I hope the formula isn't adjusted to get more viewers. Probably not though, as I don't know anyone my age who doesn't like that show. It's great! Not "Simpsons" great, but still...

I actually heard Family Guy is replacing the Simpsons time slot. Just what I heard...

But yeah this kicks ass, although I was under the impression that the new episode were supposed to come out this month. Oh well, I can wait.

If Family Guy premieres it's new episodes in May, they can take the Simpsons time slot. It's reruns by then. I don't give a shit; at least something good will consistently be on Sunday @ 8. Fox has a terrible habit of putting baseball games and movies like "Men in Black II" in the Simpsons slot.

I think they cancelled it because no one watched it. They brought it back because of its DVD sales.... wait, now Im sure of this.
