Is it common to taste or hear colors while your tripping?  I hope to soon find out :smile: , but was wondering if it was a common thing or if only certain people experienced it.

Anjaba, yes they can be heard and tasted, it's called synestesia (sp?). You would need a medium-high dose however, but you'll find out evetually :wink:

....I am WAY more excited about these fungi now.  Good thing I recieved my B+ syringe today, I figure if I start tomorrow I should be trippin in  ~2 months .  I'm so looking forward to just chillin in the dark though too :shroomer:

Thanks! Yea, I'm not going into the dark on my first trip unless it is going REALLY well. I'm a VERY level minded and optimistic person so I doubt I'll have a horribly bad trip. Then again I've never tried any strong hallucinogens before so I have nothing to base it on...

I live in Central Florida so if my first grow fails there are plenty of other sources.

Umm... you know, a few days ago I had my first trip in complete darkness, ala Mckenna way. Even tho it was only 2 grs it was way stronger that a conventional trip. Take in account that usually we are distracted by visions, sights, conversation, TV and so while tripping. When you trip alone it's only you and the universe :shroomer: I recommend it, but not for a first timer...

Dont' be afraid of bad trips, it's very hard to have a bad trip the first times, specially if you've done your homework (which I think you have or will, right? :wink:)

I'd recommend to you reading the papers that are in my sig and reading thru the shroomery, and if in doubt ask anything, there are lots of great people here you will help you.

Anyway, you've come to the best place to learn about the experience  :laugh: :mushroom2::heart:

Yea, I've been reading so much lately on the subject. Effects, why there are effects, just to go with the flow, and then how to grow them as well. Plus MANY trip reports, which may not have been very good, I don't want to imbed into my head what my trip is going to be like before it even happens..oh well, to late now.

I'm thinking 3g at home.  I'm going to be alone my first time, especially considering I'm very interested in it for spirituality reasons.  Don't get me wrong though, I DO want to trip my balls off.  Just the thought of all the wonderful things that will run through my mind, and how enhanced everything will be gets me so excited.  I'll probably do it on a day I don't have class so I will have the house to myself (live at home with parents, campus 20 min away).  I'll probably get up early around sunrise and then then it go from there. 

Man, talking about it makes me want to do it sooner.  Rain this weekend, and I live in Tampa so I think I'm going to have my experience sooner than I posted earlier.  That would be great.  I think I'm going to have to drop by the Hunting forum and see what I can dig up about my area and this time of year. :smile:

Sounds good. My most profound spiritual transformation came to me after 3grs with my best friend at home. On second thought, I'd start with 1.5-2grs, just to get a feeling for it, then after a week or so try with 3grs? :shrug:

Oh, and yeah, everytime I speak of this I want to take some! It's inevitable :wink:

I was basing my dose on my friends first dose. He took an 1/8th while visiting up in New Hampshire and LOVED it.
