Aftershow PA music: Theme from The Godfather. Basically none of the songs in the second set were finished, all jammed out into some other song. *First time played; shares most lyrics with "Oblivious Fool." ^With funked-out jam during which Trey said "This is for all those that came down wanting to dance" and "we're gonna funk it out". ^^Funky version; with Trey strutting around on stage during the heavy funk; includes older lyrics ("turned the blade back on the bitch, and dropped her in the dung"). #Apparently, they were under a lot of pressure to finish up the deadline/curfew, and even considered not playing an encore at all.


I have only listened to the first few seconds of Cavern and there is lots of funk in just the begining..very cool. I'm excited to hear this show..i just started DWD...and i'm going to put it on when i go to bed, and listen to the rest tomorrow.


I love getting a good phish show.

I wanna get 12/30/97 cause i was looking at the setlist today, and aside from it being a cool setlist...it has a LONG encore. After they found out they were being billed for playing past midnight they just kept playing for a while and it's a 4 song encore. My cousin has that, so I may borrow it from him tomorrow and put it onto my computer. I'm so glad I have my iPod, if you don't have blanks you can put it on the Pod...well I put it on there anyways, but now I'm rambling.

god i could never be a full blown phishhead
i gotta down load at leased 5 dead shows a week
i love trading and all but phish shows are just harder to come by it seems

yeah, not a whole lotta sites you can download shows from. I traded a lot of my shows. ANd i borrowed lots from friends/family and copied them to my computer or something. I've also downloaded lots of shows. ocassionally nugs.net has some phish shows but they don't update much anymore. I'm currently downloading a show from..my top secret place that isn't so top secret. momadance.

YEM, have you used BitTorrent? There are *lots* of Phish shows available that way. There are a couple of groups out there digitizing and seeding many older, un-circulated shows and trying to make them available in a loss-less format.

I just got 6 new shows today, 4 new shows yesterday, 4 new shows the day before and many shows in the past little while...i have LOTS of listening to do.

If you're downloading shows from the etree source, be kind and seed them for a while afterwards, too... That way more people can have access to the all great music.

download the shn, and then i use mkw Audio Compression Tool to convert the file.
