Is this just a small strain? THe biggest one is only 4" tall on a rubbermaid full of straw and castings. Have any of you gotten big PES H's? They are pretty though.

Tom, I grew some P.E.S.H's. Yes, they were small. By the way, the H stands for hybrid.

I thought it was P (Pacific) E(Exotica) S(spore exchange?) H(hawwiian). But I could be wrong.

I guess I woln't be taking any prints b/c I am not a fan of small strains. As sir mix-alot once said "I like em real big & juicy"

How big the mushrooms grow depend at most on the substrate.
My cambodians grow about 3-4 inch on rye, but many of them, and double that size on straw, but in smaller numbers.

the pesh (offered as a hawaiian race by a now out of business company known as "pacific exotic spora") is a typically short statured race... they will all be small and fat typically...

btw, pes was located in hawaii, this is the only link to the name because no cubes are native to hawaii

There have been a FEW 5 inchers but I guess I'm spoiled with the 7" to 1' fruits form lipa yais. But most of them are small; however the stems are not as thin as the treasure coasts. I am not a fan of small fruiting strains.

And yes the PESH's are on straw and castings; so optimal substrate for big fruits.
