god bless texas then. i figured the cold weather lately was going to ruin my fun for a while. its a wierd state for weather though. i at least remember that. been gone too long. but NOW...now that i can fully appreciate the long season...i might just buy a cow pasture.

well, I live in southwest LA about 20 miles from the gulf and about 20 miles from the TX border and have shrooms here through the winter. So I figure it's pretty much the same over in TX along the same lines as where I am. Going more west it gets a bit colder. Southeast TX should still have fruits though.

im on the west side of houston and friends picked stuff about 2 weeks ago and i think im going hunting tommorow if my dealer cant get me anything (i get good shrooms for 5 a gram :-)) so ill update you

I live near san antonio its been raining today been mild as well,it should stay good weather long enough for something to pop up,checked some feilds two days ago mycelium starting to recover from the freezes gonna go looking in about four days.

Well I've been hunting in Louisiana and have had no luck. The field looks like a very good place for shrooms to grow though. Maybe I should try another field?

i go hunting in bastrop country around the giddings area, but i haven't even gone hunting this season b/c we've only gotten like one day of rain and it was mild. central texas sucks right now (i'm assuming) and i'm pretty sure it would be a waste of time.

if anyone has had any luck in bastrop country, let me know.

Texas is crap this year its going to take a long time for things to get shroomy again,And i think we are going to have a La Nina effect witch means dry spring,i hope not lets all rain dance!

I live in north Houston on a very large cattle ranch and this last rain we had spawned some nice fruiting. Over all this season has been shit due to the lack of rain in Texas. Hoping that will change soon. God I hope so. Last year in Feb/March yielded up to 1/2 pound a day on our property. Created a huge storage bank of prints and syringes just for seasons like this..........Any luck any were else in Texas?
