Smokin' Shrooms

I read somewhere that smoking shrooms is more subtle and doesn't last as long as eating them. I've also heard that it wasn't even like trippin', it was more like being really high. Seems like a bit of a waste to me. I was wonderin' if anyone has tried it before.

I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do.

I havent actually tried smoking shrooms, but ive heard that at least half of the pscilocybn in the shrooms is destroyed when it is smoked, and that it doesnt last nearly as long, tastes horrible and hurts your lungs. Ive heard this many times so i strongly suggest u just eat em, :)

Shit dont happen till you step in it.

It makes some sense that DMT would be in shrooms, seeing as there's only one atom of difference from Psilocin. It's probally involved in the fungi's natural synthesis of Psilocin/Psilocybin. Even so there's probaly under 1mg of DMT in the mush, not enough to acheive a real effect smoking.

I really wouldn't smoke shrooms, seeing as you'll have 10x a better time just eating them :)

I've herd that the smoke from shrooms if it gets into your eyes you can go blind.

I've smoked SHROOMS

If you go to www.erowid.com and look under the Amanita's section - they tell you how to smoke 'em.  but lemme tell you... IT SUCKS

I would never do it again... we peeled off the caps of like 4 shrooms and smoked the skin (which is what you're supposed to do according to erowid) - and it got me maybe as high as weed - but on weed we didn't have to smoke like twelve bowls. 

oh - and it doesn't make you go blind :wink:
