was wanderin is this an effective manner in producin cannabutter:-

grind up hashish and place in plate with adequate amount of butter, place in microwave and heat for roughly 30secs and then mix

would this be ok?

I dont know about putting it in the microwave. I put butter in before and it turns kinda manky.

Not sure the exact measurements but when I made it I low boiled 1-2 slabs of butter with a whole plant for 1-2 hours.

Strain and refridgerate.. mmm green butter that tastes like ash  :noway:

take your clippings or hash or weed or oil or what ever it is your making it with and grind it up as fine as possible and then use a double boiler or a crock pot on low and get the butter melted and then slowly place all the weed/etc. in the butter juice and let it cook on low for 4-6 hours and then strain and place in freezer till it hardins back up and then cook with it as normal. the amount of herb to add to the amount of butter depends on the strength you want it to be, and yes the stronger it is the worst itll taste. for example if you got 12 tbs of butter and want to make some cookies with one gram each and the recipe calls for 12 tbs then you must use 12 grams of butter.

take 2 sticks of butter and depending on if your using chronic or stress either put between 10-15grams of chronic or 30-50 grams of stress, For some amazing Cannabutter, simmer for about 10 minutes or until the butter is green, use coffee filters to strain out plant mush and let the remaining liquid harden, add to any food that requires butter.

Use the overgrow.com GrowFaq recipe, ratios, and times.

For hashish, I usually just powder it up and add it to cocoa. Good moroccan makes it chocolately :smile:

well i really couldnt be bothered doin much and was readin earlier about just mixin up some ground up hash with some ice cream hopefully the thc will join with the fat molecules in the ice cream so i just done that like half an hour ago, feelin some mild effects - vision went a bit blurry as effects began to be felt, now its just im just a bit chilled - this aint got nothin on other oral MJ experiences mind you was only half an hour ago so we'll just have to wait and see

It doesn't really matter if the thc bonded with the fat molecules if you ingested the hash, right?

btw, thc is absorbed by the oil in butter for cannabutter, not bonding to any fat molecules, hehe....

eat 3 times what you would smoke, bro, and have fun.

i always thought that the thc was fat soluble.....dunno anyway im havin an all right time but i think ill up the dose next time

Easy there, I was joking, simply giving reference to the original source. The overgrow GrowFaq recipe is completely useless for hashish unless you are using a very large amount. People have eaten hash for centuries with no cooking involved.

If anyone is interested I could post up some selections from the book Hashish by Robert Connell Clarke.

Add some water to a pot. Heat up the water and add a couple sticks of butter. Dice up some bud and add it to the water. Let everything simmer for a few hours, stirring occasionally. Strain the water/butter mix through a hand strainer to remove the bud. Stick the resulting water/butter mix in the fridge for a few hours untill the butter solidifies. Collect the butter and throw out the water.

Having the water helps add surface area to the butter allowing a better extraction. Also the water traps a bunch of crap that you don't want in the cannabutter which otherwise might be trapped in the butter.

oh no prob man, i wasnt meaning it in a mean attacking way i was just letting you know that is were i got mine from. and if you want the affects of cooked cannabis in a littl amount of time check out the fire crackers they take only 1 gram of weed and also are done in 22 minutes and you only need some organic peanut butter and 8 crackers and foil and a oven.
