btw Phishgrrl I have met Psyphon and Kiaowas as well, they are hella cool in my book. Out of the hundred or so Shroomerites I have met, I can say only a few of them I didnt bond with.

well, the past 2 az gatherings EDC and nocturnal. looking back, its hard to pick a favorite one. the last one was completely NUTZ, so much fun. the first gathering i went to blew my mind. i remember thinking i could have been just as high with out the drugs. EDC, my first rave....quite the magical journey. nocturnal wonderland was equally amazing. every time i go to a gathering i have the BEST time of my life. and silversoul, i disagree with you....the raves and what not are not just to pass the time in between the az gatherings.

some moments that stick out in my mind...

first az gathering, running around on 2c-i + mushies rambling on for hours on how good i felt. i remember taking a piss in the woods, and getting lost in the explosion of colors, standing there for 10 minutes just holding my dick forgetting where i was.

i remember getting floored the first time i rolled at EDC. laying in the grass getting a back massage from a beautiful girl as every cell in my body burst with the love and joy i had only imagined possible.

tripping on the beach while 40 got his ass kicked by a girl

and of coarse, the last gathering where i became master of the universe.

i plan to go to the NE gathering this year, but i suck at making plans, so i dont know if i will make it or not. its kinda a far trip for me, but im gonna try my hardest to make shit happen.

i've yet to meet any other shroomerites... i was supposed to smoke up with FilthySock in Bergen, but we kept missing each other, and then I moved from Norway... I guess that's the closest I've gotten - but I'm planning on going to the Euro gathering, so hopefully i'll get to put a few faces to the names!

i've been to a few...

i held one in june 2001 in PA... only about 13-15 people... 3 days planning... definately my favorite, though...

WEMF 2001... an extremely fun/crazy/exciting weekend...

i went to the what i think is the first, first AZ gathering in 2002... fun, but different...

and i've met up with random shroomerites from coast to coast.. just one on one or two meetings.. not a real gathering, i guess... but i think at last count i had met over 50 people.. not bad...

I haven't been to any gatherings yet, but I'll be at the gathering in Ohio in June for sure, and hopefully the one in AZ as well :smile:  I cant wait.

NE was definitely one of the best weekends of my life. It was great hanging out with people I wouldn't normally hang with.

Great people and a great time.

If anyone doesn't do their best to get to the next one this summer, you are seriously missing out.

Oh my god, I want to go to a gathering sometime soon.
Perhaps I'll save up some cash for the summer and fly down south to come visit a few of ya'll.

I never post here, but I think the oppertunity for a gathering would be cool. If anyone knows of anything going on remotely close to Vancouver BC, please PM me and let me know. A place to crash would be cool too, but not all that necessary.

June 2k5, in Ohio. Last year was the biggest Shroomery gathering ever, if I understand correctly. Haven't been yet, planning to hit 2k5....

I've been to a gathering (NE), have raved with 40 and terra at cyberfest, met silversoul at ozzfest, and phishy for a hike in  muir woods and a kick ass hippy party (power to the peaceful) the day after.

effed let me stay with him for the week which was awesome. I couldn't have felt more at home while at his place (maybe he'll let me stay again :laugh: ).


trendal, gillette, and cherrybomb are totally cool canoodians. fortyounces, silversoul7, phishgrrl, jacquecousteau, sam, shroomism, jenny, dreamer, fungushungry, redstorm, taco, kingofthething, twista, and everyone else  :heart:.

i can't pick out one moment because all of it was a blast.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
