First Time

I see posts like this all the time, but I will be tripping for my first time in a few days, and am very excited. I've been reading these forums for a few months, waiting for a chance to trip, and now it has came. I will be taking then with a few other friends, and probably am going to be taking about 3.5 grams dried. I know their are many threads on it, but any tips/recommendations would be great. I definately wanna do some art, listen to some pink floyd (my favorite band), and enjoy nature. We will be tripping at night also.

Yeah, relax, don't be looking for the effects, the more ya look, the longer it seems to take for the peak to hit. Go with the flow, remember, if you get caught in a bad thought pattern, accept it, and shrug it off. Let it spin away and be forgotten. I'd recommend chilling somewhere so you can really experience it. Most of all, have fun listen to music, play with the visuals, close your eyes and spin off into infinity.........and remember, you'll come down, whether you want to or not, you'll come down. It lasts a while, but it's supposed too. Happy trails brother!

A few more questions, how much in advance should i not eat for to get the best effects? Is it better to smoke some herb going up, while peaking, or while coming down? Should I just eat the dry shrooms, or put them in a sandwich or drink or something? I have heard that putting them in a peanut butter sandwich reduces the potency, but i'm not sure if its true.

  I'd eat lightly all day, and not eat anything for at least 4 hours prior to the trip. As far as bud goes, I wait until i'm coming down.  I like to experience the effects of whatever i'm tripping on alone, and then kick it back up as I come down, also it's better to know how far you are going to go before adding more fuel  :wink:. Also buds can add paranoia, so you don't want that going into your trip. Just eat the dry shrooms, and chase with water. If you can't handle the tase break them up into really tiny pieces, as small as you can get them, and swallow them like that.  Enjoy!  :shroomer:

Sweet, they are really good doses, strong and clean (silver crystal). I haven't taken any yet, but i've dosed a couple friends, one (very experienced) with 1 and a half hits and he was faced, another friend with 1 and he was also faced.

Are you supposed to chew them a lot to absorb the psilocybin? Or just chew them enough to swallow?

Chew them up as much as possible, if ya just chew them up to swallow you'll still get enough, but the more they are grinded up the better.

If I do 3.5g, and say an hour later or so i want to do like 1 or 2g's more, will this make the trip more intense, or just extend the duration?

:lol: :lol: :lol:  An hour later you'll either be peaking (in whhich case if they are good shrooms, you won't want/need any more) or not quite there yet, you'll have no idea how far you're going so........  In any case, redosing doesn't work, so bad idea. Just do 3.5g, wait until you start coming down, and then smoke if you want.  3.5g is enough to make most people trip quite hard (depending on the quality of the shrooms of course), so you should be fine.  :laugh:

OK WELL, it turns out my friends sister got us acid instead. It's in tabs, so we will be doing that instead. Do you just put the tab on your tongue? How long do you suck on it for? I'm so excited we got acid, i thought it was really hard to get, but the girl had that, and no shrooms.

Excellent, yeah you just put it on your tongue. If you swallow it, no biggie.....you can stick it where the sun don't shine and it'll still work. I'd use the tongue if I were you though. The flow is definitly back on, what's the print?

I haven't seen them, my friend said it's got zebra stripes on em. So acid is a good hallucinogen to start with? The one thing i hate though is some of my other friends think its so bad because it's categorized with bad drugs like coke and heroin.

  Ha, tell those friends they are full of shit......it got me OFF coke and heroin/painkillers.  Hell yeah it's good to start with, my first trip was on it. This was back when genuine white fluff was still around, and I wound up dropping 3 hits of it. I will never, ever forget that, it was truely the most incredible and mind-blowing..no mind shattering experience of my life. I discovered true magic that night......so yeah acid is good to start with. Many people, myself included find LSD to be the most incredible mind-altering substance you can take. One last question, about how long will it last. We will be taking 2 hits each, at about 4ish pm. Is it good to smoke some herb while doing it too, or just do the cid?

  The whole trip will last anywhere between 8-17 hours......but generally 12 hours in total.  Out of this the peak will last anywhere between 2-10 hours, but generally 4-6. Smoking is good, but wait until after your peak. Also, it comes in waves, so you may think you're coming down, when in fact....you're not.  One more thing, you'll have an afterglow that may last the whole next day, and you'll probably feel rejuvinated, cleansed and full of life for the next week or more after the trip. Ride that wave brother!  :cheers: :goodluck:

We took 3 hits total, the first two about 8 hours ago, and the last one about 7 ago. It took so long to kick in, we didnt feel any after the first hour so we each took another tab. Then we waited for a while and it still didn't kick in. It was like 2.5hours from the first hits and we met up with some of my friends and smoked some herb. Once I smoked it started to hit me really hard and really intense. I'm still feeling good right now. Acid is a lot different than I thought it would be like.

Hmmmmm, that's weird. How big were these hits? It could be that they were weak.......but 2.5 hours? That kinda sounds like 5 Me0-AMT. Did you feel sick at all, have shits?

Didn't feel sick at all, no shits. My friends who were just high told me i pissed my pants, and it took me like 15 minutes realtime which seemed like a lifetime to figure out that i hadn't and the bastards were just fucking with me cuz i had spilled a little gatorade on my pants. The hits were really small, i have never seen acid before, so i don't know how big they normally are, they were rectangles that were tough to pick up with tweezer's out of the small bag. We payed a real lot, 80$ for 7 doses, but i think it was worth it

  Damn that's expensive.....but yeah I feel ya when you say it's worth it  :laugh: If they were tiny, it's def. real.  You said they were rectangular, they were probably trimmed, so that's why it took so long to kick in.  Either way, it sounds like you had a good trip, welcome to wonderland brother.  :thumbup:
