I was wondering if someone could start a free cow shit ring so those people who dont have access to manure could get some for cheap. I have limited access to cow shit so i couldnt do it but those who cant afford 100 dollars for 10 lbs could mabey afford 20,30 dollars which would cover mostly shipping charges. Its just an idea.

BH the shipping is pricy but by us drying it out completely and then filling a 1 gallon zip lock and a 2 gallon zip lock full of dried compost you get a big bang for your buck
our 1 gallon holds about 5 dry pounds when we poured it out and added water is was almost 12 pounds etc...
I think the price for our compost is right and shipping is fair for these zip locks 6-8$
so 20.00 (or so) will get you about 10 lbs of compost

So is the compost sterilized or prepared in any special way? Will they say how much water to add, ect. Is it straigt cow shit or a mixture of stuff?

It is compost, I do not have the recipe, a lady close to me here makes it for something she owns a fram I have used the compost 2 times and it had worked well both times. She let's me help myself.
It is pasturized very well and the laid out in the sun to dry and then I bag and ship it.
For adding the proper moisture you take a pillow case and fill 'er up and then put it in water for 30-45 minutes.
Then wring it out until there is very little drip

I have squrrle, rabbit, moose, deer shit. Which will probably work out better for you since they are HERBIVORES and not OMNIVORES!(again...sp?).... i don't know if your trying to be funny or something Captain, but -after reading your site, i think you should re-phrase that answer.. :wink:... peace

Has anyone ever used the compost from ZOODOO.com , its like 15 dollars for 15 lbs of the shit? I was wondering if you need to sterilize it also or just mix it with your stuff. Im think im gonna order some just to try it out. !
