South American=Amazonian?

Does anyone know off-hand if the South American strain from SporeChicks is the same as the Amazonians offered by other vendors? They seem to be the only ones with a strain called South American. I got a print from them when they first started and I have some descendants sprouting now. They're big boys... I just picked one that weighed 27g.

Nope, not the same...although they are both psilocybe cubensis. Amazons from PF are originally from Mexico and called Amazons for their reported size. SA's are priginally from Venezuela.

They are both nice shrooms. I think the PF's are a little smaller, could just be me. I used to think they were the same shroom till I did some research. so chicks R right on this one.

Glad to see ya around again sporechicks...
