seriously though u think that's bad, My prof instructed each of us to go fix some code, so he gave each of us around 2000 lins of improperly constructed C++ that we have to fix by friday.

this is gonna be a loooooooooooong week...

I'm a forestry major, workin on a BS :smile: Calculus isn't bad, but that's as far as I want to travel down the mathematics road for now, I think. I got a forest biometrics class next semester, so that chemistry is finally going to pay off. It's all up in the air, I don't really know what I'm doing :smile:

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

:lol: damn hippie crackheads. I only wish I could get tanks around here, instead of crappy cartridges. I work at a lab and do all the orders for chemicals and gas tanks, but we dont get N2O. I think theyd get suspicious if one accidentally got ordered though hehe.

yo! i'm fixing myself up a cup of chai right now... going to head out to the Indian buffet in 30 minutes or so. debating whether to take a shower or not this morning (and i know once the debate has started, not showering is going to win out :smile: )

krishna, was your hair stright before you dreaded it? I have really stright hair and want to dread it again. I tried once but it didnt work so well so I ended up cuttin em off. Finally my hair is getting long again. Howd you do yours?

well, my hair wasn't totally straight - it was a bit wavy. i also have really thick hair, so i guess that helped. two friends of mine helped make them - one already had dreads, so she claimed to know what to do, and another claimed to have dreaded her friend's hair before. now that i think about it, i don't think either one really knew what they were doing :smile: basically, they grabbed chunks of hair, teased it with a comb (backcombing), and used a bit of this bay-rum soap, putting a bit in my hair to make it a bit "tacky". it took them two evenings, but when they were finished my head was a huge tangled mess - and i mean huge . right when they finished, i had like 3 weeks off from school before having exams, so while studying, i just kept palm-rolling them non-stop, twisting them, etc. It was also really nice weather, so i often was studying on this island near where I lived - so I would dunk my head in the fjord, and then allow it to evaporate - a jamaican friend of mine told me that the salt would help "pull" the dreads together. i also would spray my head with a mixture of sea-water and lemon juice every once and a while (supposably the lemon juice helps to cut down on the scalp-itch that you will definitely suffer from for the first month or so).  now, its been 7 months, i guess, and i think they are doing really well. i wash them about once a week, with herbal soap (as long as your soap doesn't have perfumes or conditioners in it, it will actually help tighten your dreads). i don't have a digi-cam here, but i'll try to find one and post a pic. oh - and wait until your hair is quite long (mine was below-shoulder length), because it will shrink quite a bit (especially if you make them really fat like i did), and it is really annoying if you can't tie your hair back.

do a search on google, though, there are some websites and forums that help explain the process. you will definitely need a good friend or two who are willing to screw with your hair for 2 days, though :smile:
