Credit card fraud

So I was putting my cheque in at the bank yesterday and I got my statement and though "hmm, I thought I had a bit more money than that."
Logged on to Netbank this morning, bring up my statement and lo and behold, 3 seperate transactions to some computer software company in the States which I had absolutley nothing to do with.
I don't know how this happened, but it's kinda made me not want to make purchases online anymore...
Called up the bank, had my card cancelled. They say their fraud department will be investigating and will dispute the transcations with this company in the US for me. Given that they are some online software dealers from overseas, am I really likely to get my money back? I haven't had this shit happen before so I've got no clue.
Also, the bank put me on hold alot and they had this really depressing piano music in the background and it was making me rather upset. Some companies really need to consider their choice of hold music more carefully.

^^ I agree, I've had some mix ups like that, and every single time the bank,payee was prompt to return my money.  :grin:
One time it was aol, then it was some magazines I did not order  :rolleyes:

Yeah you'll get all your money back don't worry. I was recently the victim of credit card fraud.

Are you using a good quality firewall?

Attempted theft of banking details is one of the most common things that my firewall picks.
