Hey everyone I'm from Vancouver and I was just wondering what people have heard about this city. I haven't really tried any weed from anywhere else or any shrooms(Personally I find both of them here quite satisfying) but I would like to hear some experiences of trips up her, or maybe some of the things going around about it out of curiousity.

I've been wanting to make a trip up to Vancouver for a long time, never been there. I finally got to Seattle a few weeks ago, it only proved my theory that the quality of the bud and of people increase the further north and west you travel. I'm hoping to visit BC this January while on semester break to do some skiing.

I've never bought weed from Vancouver actually.

My friend did though... it was more money. He bought an eighth for $40, whereas we can easily get an eighth for $30 or $25.

Not sure the quality though.

wow man really? i got one for 30 here. hmm some people can try and rip you off. normally it's 10 dollars a gram here, but naturally after you know people the price could become quite flexible

i foudn it more pricey there too, but far more varieties aroudn as well.  seems most people on teh island prefer blueberry, WW, timewarp and along those lines.  cept for teds book store in vic, they got tons of varieties.

but i have also talked to my sis over there that says its the same price as here on the island, guess i just dont know enough peopel there.

vancouver has a nice night life, but i cant stand living in the city.  i love to visit :smile:

hmm yeah.. you should go to amsterdam cafe and that whole weed block place on hastings. Haven't been there yet but i've been meaning to check it out and there is a store above it called the wandering something or i dunno and you go up and that's where they sell everything. Apparently they got different salvia extracts, mushrooms, weed and perhaps something else, although that's all i heard of so far. But apparently you should make sure to ask the price(mushrooms are 5 bucks per gram right? type of thing) or else they could also rip you off hahaahah.

I've never actually been in 'Ted's bookstore', I read about a store that sold that type of stuff but looked like a bookstore on the outside.. in victoria -- didn't know the name though.

They probably ask for a script proof though eh?

haha yeah i never heard of ted's book store but that sounds sweet. Man it's pretty convinient to have those stores around too.. becuase i skate so if i'm skating downtown and i decided i wanna do soemthing with my night i could just go over there and buy whatever. I wonder if there is that kind of stuff all over canada. But my friend just moved here from Ontario and he says for shrooms they just take normal kinds and like dip them in lsd or something that fucks you up. I'm glad we saved him here on the west coast

they dont dip normal mushrooms i lsd...they are cracked out easterners that buy chantrells and smoke too much weed :smirk:

anyway teds book store is a "Medicinal Marihjuana" supplier.  you bring in a note with a doc's sig and you can buy as much as you want.  problem is he is a tad $.  150-200 an O....but quality...SHIT man!  im not fortunate enough to have a cool doctor, she a bitch.  but many are.  my friends brother has asthma and gets it for that...explain that one.  anyway thats all you need a signature and saying so...ask your doctor.

should you be a narc, i am of course talking about hemp.  he sells fine plastic replicas of O's for demonstration purposes :wink:

Heh, yeah, I've never tried to get note from a doctor. I don't really have anything that would warrent one, although I haven't looked at what health problems you have to have to get prescribed cannabis.

I've heard there are a lot of strange things you can claim which will result in a script for it. It would be good if there was some kind of list, but I haven't seen one.

Wouldn't really know what to say either in that type of situation.

Perhaps you should try changing doctors if you don't like the one you're with. Couldn't hurt.

if your skinny say you cant eat.  that one does work if you can be convincing.  sleep works too which is what im gonna try next.

i dotn change doctors cause i havnt been in abut 5 years.  i dont liek them and avoid them liek the plague.  anyway ill get friendly with one somtime and giv eit a whirl.  jsut not motivated cause i know someone who can get it :smile:

also if you have arthritis or some other sever pain.
