some questions about agar
    #338276 -

okay my cat is starting to get into agar:

now i have played around with a few recipies, but i still havent found one that gives my cat that nice clear agar, even with using lower quantities of the nutritional ingredient.

I'm thinking use just sugar water perhaps?

also any suggestions on when/how to pour/store the agar so that i dont get so much condensation forming on the the lids for my cat?

i thought i remember back in the day that you should stack them as soon as you pour them so that only the top one gets condenstaion, but that does not seem to be the case.

thanks again.

Store them upside-down to prevent condensation.

Sugar water would be a poor substitute. You wouldn't be able to isolate strains. Might as well inject spore water.

When you pour the agar, you should stack your dishes.(before puring, 5 in a stack), then lift the whole stack with the lid of the table nearest dish, pour in agar and so on.
This way the heat of the agar over the lid down under will prevent the condensation on the lid.
What about the top dish? Pour scalding water to a glass and put it on the top dish.
