I've never been that big of a Jerry fan (always heard him with the Dead so had equal respect for both), but WOW, he's an amazing musician. Excellent video. Makes me want to find some of his solo stuff to see what his individual style's like.

I have never owned a Dead record..ever. I do enjoy a few tunes.

Mabey I should check them out with some real earnest thought

Yeah, there's too many to name. I just get live cds usually cause the download quality isn't that good for the earlier shows. the closing of winterland is great as is dick's picks 8, and 14....shit so many of them are great, i'm too tired to think right now though, sorry.
