yup muscarias tend to be full of gnat larvae maybe because they are so juicy and tasty to flies.

I dunno about that. I read that they go the name "fly agaric" because they used to be used to make fly poison.

i found a ton of them last month, there stems were all infected with larvae, it was just dandy too look at  :puke:
