You must be talking about the Royal Red scheme. That was the one I was using too, damnit.

Fucking bastards.

I'd settle, gladly, for a Deluvian Red Scheme:

I took down the Royal Red theme because it was missing some tags which are used by the newer BB versions. I didn't want people getting confused and sending in bug reports when an outdated stylesheet was to blame. However I must say I had no idea how popular it was and if I'd realized I would have taken the time to update it instead of just pulling it offline. Anyway I went through and added the required tags, and re-enabled the stylesheet. Please let me know if you notice any weirdness when using it.

Oh and I'm not a bastard ya bastards.

I deeply appreciate your respectful and fastidious help, Ythan.. Thank you for bringing back ole Royal Red.

At the risk of sounding like a ingrate; I have to admit, though.. I'm really interested to see if Deluvian Red would be an option, because I think from the example I've demonstrated above, that it would probably look alot better than Royal Red..
:grin:

No, I'm glad to know what people want to see. We'd have to create a Deluvian Red theme ourselves though because one doesn't already exist. However we're making an effort to continuously add new, compatible and high-quality stylesheets and a Deluvian Red theme is certainly high on the list.

Of course if someone were to download the Deluvian Blue stylesheet and use it as a template to create a red version, it could get added that much faster. :wink:

Thanks for the suggestion!

Peace,

-Y

Would it simply be possible to edit that .css file to change all of the colors to fit the red scheme?

I've never done any .css editing but this sounds like it could be fun if it's easy enough for the coding-challenged like me :smile:

Yeah, editing a .css file is relatively easy. Here's one way you could go about it.

Go to a forum page which you'll use as your test. Go to File | Save and select 'Web page, complete'. This saves a local copy of the page, including its stylesheet. You can now edit the stylesheet on your computer and load your local copy of the page in a web browser to see how it looks.

If you decide to try this and have any questions, let me know.

Peace,

This looks fun, I Think I'll play around with it. I don't think I'll actually be able to come up with something worth using ...

I do have a question though, a simple one. What is the color code for transparent?

No code, just 'transparent', i.e.:

td {
background: transparent;
}

Keep in mind that the td would then inherit the background color of its parent. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

Peace,

Thanks.

Well I'd like to state that I am not coming with anything that nearly resembles a deluvian scheme. But if I actually finish this I may show you for approval or something.
