I've always liked that song.

Actually KOTT by that time the band was such a big draw that they had moved into large stadium venues as opposed to the smaller 5,000 seat venues of past years.

It was there popularity in concert that flooded the scene with kids and made it something less that what it was in the glory days of the 70's

A friend of my guitarist came to watch our band practice one day. He kept talking about what a big Deadhead he was but how he hated "Touch Of Grey". I was like "Dude, you're not that big of a Deadhead then."

I caught Jerry's last show at Soldiers field.  When they blended touch of grey into black muddy river it really sent ya melting into the groove...  :cool: :cool:
