"Memento" is unique in that it tells a story completely toying with real time and playing time.

In real time, events in the movie take place as such:
1a 1b 1c 1d 1e 1f 1g 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

In movie time, they play like this:
8 1a 7 1b 6 1c 5 1d 4 1e 3 1f 2 1g

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are shown backwards, but all the segments of 1 are shown in real time, meeting in the middle, but creating the end (at 2 & 1g). Get it? :wink:

Is that crazy or what?

Go see this movie, people. Newt was right to mention it, especially to this crowd. You'll love it. (But it's not only "about a killer"; it's about many things.... Trust us, go see it.)
