Favorite ethnic foods?

I am eating Samosas and Pakoras from an east indian restaurant nearby, and I was wondering what other foods I might like. I have had some vietnamese foods (salad rolls, shrimp on sugar cane) and I am liking ethnic foods better than North American foods lately. Our food seems so "bland" compared to other countries.

(damn I am sweating from the spicy mango chutney)  :crazy2:

YUM! My favorites are Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Indian, in no particular order. Those folks in the East sure know how to cook!

Japanese is my favorite. but there aren't *any* Japanese restaurants anywhere around here. I just have to make sure I get some whenever I'm in a real city.

I really enjoy Indian food. Chicken tikka massala, vindaloo, chutney, aloo, all that stuff rocks. :smile:

My mom is Vietnamese, she makes the best eggrolls ever. I need to learn how to make them myself sometime.

I like Thai, east Indian and Jamaican. A good jerk chicken can be so good with a generous amount of Jamaican style hot sauce.

Japanese.

I love Japanese steak houses and their chefs that cook your food right in front of you and throw in a little theatrical Jackie-Chan style stunts with their cutlery..
Plus, I have a thing for Asian women. And sushi.

Well American chinese food is my favorite food. But some good ethic foods are Paella which is spanish and i like carribbean food because you just dump hot sauce on whatever you get.

I like food that makes me full.

Spanish food is definately stick to your ribs kinda stuff.....

Sushi is decent,  I'm kinda new to it but have enjoyed most of it so far.

Chinese tastes great, but never fills me up long enough :frown:  all carbs and no protien it seems :frown:

Southern US food is awsome to.. Jumbilaya, etc..

and NOTHING beats california coast seafood.

Yeah I forgot to mention Japanese (sushi especially) and Mexican of course. Come to think of it, I like pretty much any ethnic food except English food.

I was in Madison a few weeks ago and we passed an Ethiopian restaurant.
