whats up with the huautla strain?

I have tried growing huautla's for about 2 months now and all I have is 2 mushrooms out of 6 cakes. I did a search on them and almost every post I saw about them said they had trouble fruiting them, or it has been like 15+ days since birth and there are no pins. I thought they were supposed to be an abundant easy fruiter, although everyone seems to say they are not having very good luck at growing them, as well as I am. I have hype knots all over my cakes and they have been like that for weeks. The cakes that did produce 1 mushroom, were sitting so long that the were turning darker and drying out. Oh well. I started a casing about 5 days ago, and the whole top is colonized. Hopefully I will have better luck with this casing then I did with my cakes.
