GM everyone!

Had another appointment this morning, and I’ll have another next Friday. My induction date is set and it’s all feeling a little too real lol. I’ll be fine. Not my first pregnancy but my mind has been a bit of a mess lately, I’m anxious about postpartum. Especially with my wife spending weeks away at the start of next year. But I’ll be surrounded my staff and support. I still have a lot of feelings. But I’ll be fine.

My wife got a massive pressure boil on the inside of her thigh about 10 days before my son was due. She had to have it drained and packed.

The Dr's started assuring her that it wouldn't have negative consequences for her giving birth but at that point she was DONE being pregnant. She looked the Dr dead in the eye and asked "Is he healthy enough right now?" He confirmed. In the most forceful tone I've ever heard from her she said "Get it out of me NOW!".

My son was born by cesarean a few hours later.

It was a brutal pregnancy for her. She developed blood clots in her legs, and had to be put on a anti-coagulant that needed to be injected. We didn't have health insurance at the time and it was like $200 a week. I was working every hour I could get just to pay for it.

I was just around the corner roofing when I heard she was in the hospital. I immediately left to go be with her. I was fired the day after my son was born. Still glad I was there.

Because of the cesarean, I was the first one to hold my son while she was in recovery. He was so small and quiet. Just laying there with his eyes closed in my arms. I loved that kid 100% from that moment on.

Oh great, boils?! Just one more thing for me to worry about!

That’s a very sweet story, I’m so glad you were able to be there for that and fuck that roofing company that’s ridiculous. You absolutely make the correct decision.

Lovonox injections. For blood clots.

My wife and I know all too well. Those things right there suck and I respect her so much for going through 12 months straight being injected every single day during the that part of the ivf process.

She was considered extremely high risk from the very beginning.

And we didn't want to take any chances. These shots are one thing that people have found to be very helpful with women going through the IVF process. Cause blood clots Have been linked to unexpected miscarriage.

She started them when we started IVF and stopped 3 days before the delivery..

She had a C-section as well..

That shit was not easy. It was a long hard recovery. And I had to figure out a way to take care of her the baby and still go to work all at the same time..

And I still feel nowhere near as resilient as my beautiful strong powerful amazing and wonderful wife.

My daughter's 6 months old now. And my wife isn't fully recovered but she's in much better condition and able to move around and help with everything that she couldn't do before..

Also my wife did have a bout with postpartum with our first child. And so far that hasn't been the case with our daughter.  At least not and an extreme debilitating manner.

Good luck Sara.. you'll be in my thoughts. Sending good vibes your way. One thing that is extremely important..

you mentioned having..which is awesomeness.

is a lot of support. Make sure and lean on your wife and anybody else who's there to help. And hopefully you'll get through it without too many negative emotions.

And whatever it does come up.. do your best to talk through it with your wife.

You too? I used to have long blonde hair but then the trimmer spoke to me... The only issues for me is that I look like an absolute neo Nazi due to my Scandinavian looks:lol: but it's so comfortable and easy to just trim the head pubes.

I'm 33 but people always assume I'm either much younger or that I'm much older than 33...:uhoh:

Thanks for sharing as well puff. You and I seem to have gone through the exact same thing. Except for my wife didn't get the blood clots or boils..

I remember being in delivery room and they wouldn't let me clip her umbilical cord.

For half a second I was like come on and then I was just overwhelmed by the experience..2 sec later.  nothing mattered at that point because look at my beautiful daughter who got handed to me first.

I asked the nurse when my son would open his eyes and she snapped at me " he's not a kitten!".

I really had no clue what I was doing. Still don't really

I very rarely get my age guessed correctly but I've never minded too much. Its my whimsical yet wise nature, fuckin zen as shit :raver2: no but seems extremely based on their perception of me, I'm tall and bearded but a lil pretty and kind of androgenous so dudes think I'm older and ladies think I'm younger

I'll be entering my 30's soon and I'm grateful my hairline is holding strong these fucking silver beard hairs popping up are stressing me out a little
:rolljoint:

My old age hair is pure white. Like Santa clause.  I have a good amount.  And have had them for a while.  Because they are just as long as the rest.

I also have the gene where I have a single patch of white in my facial hair.

Like rouge from x men.
