Wait... So this is a variety I've never heard of or is that the one "pre-HVC"?

Fucking hell I gotta catch them all... Do you have spores for these?

Also does anyone have xico and the rest? Spores are illegal here now but damn it I wanna try them all

The HVC is such a great little mushroom with a big personality, keep us posted on the progress

@kloakk: haha man you're right this bud is op... It isn't a bud though it's static sift hash and I thought my 14 years old tolerance would handle this but here I am super hazy spewing bullshit when I say I wont

@asura/Kloakk:

Tres Soles takes longer than HVC and quite a lot longer for me around twice the amount of time but I still haven't grown them successfully so I can't say what timeline they're supposed to have but my first pins were harvested after 8 weeks and HVC takes 4-5 but I myself think Tres Soles are soooo worth the wait I've never tried zaps so can't compare with those but Tres Soles feels like a more grown up and mystical HVC but still completely different.

---

Happy to hear it man, I smoked a lot of what we used to call camel shit when I was younger, it's what got me into cultivating cannabis though so I guess it's all good in the hood

I had this one strain called Love Potion#1 and I could smoke that all day every day and it would still feel just as potent no matter what, hash just never was the same after that.

Just to be clear, are you saying that from pins to harvest is where Tres Soles takes longer then HVC? The Tres Soles cultures I have going right now seem to colonize agar, grains and substrate just as fast as HVC.

Why haven't you grown any zaps?

It's the same HVC, he's just taking Nichrome's advice on how to correctly use Semperviva or Subtropicalis, which is adding name and date

So now they made spores illegal over there as well huh? How the fuck is things moving backwards.

Kloakk is right. I just wanted to avoid any confusion, but I might’ve made it worse

Can't get any worse, you're good

What is your fruiting setup?

At this moment they still have their lids on (the tubs are similar to shoeboxes I guess), and I will move them over to dreamer tubs this weekend.

---

Oh cool, I've never run the HVC in a dreamer but I was contemplating doing just that this year. Will have to see if there will be room or not in my dreamers just yet so I'm looking forward to see how that plays out for you

Well I thought it was hilarious

Growing Xico or Tre Soles sounds like watching paint dry, just saying.

I have zaps on grain now and can only do one super slow thing at a time.

It's taken months for my brain to ramp down from cyans to the point where var. HVC seems incredibly fast.

Also, this Guzmán guy really gets around, right?

Ohhhhh, yes please! If it's no trouble.

These "aborts" are coming right along!

Told ya they would man that's a great pinset.

I know what you mean by camel shit I think... That's what we usually get here and they call it la mousse so you get really weak shit with a sketchy and barely enjoyable high to it but it's pretty cheap at around $350 for 100g and the static sift costs me $600 for 100g but man it's so good that I stopped buying 100g because I barely use 30g in the same time I'd use 100g la mousse

Damn it now I want some love potion #1 I got some really good purple haze bud this summer and man that was the best shit I've had in at least 8 years, luckily there was a seed in the bag too which I'll be attempting to grow when I switch apartments.

Yeah exactly it's the pin to harvest time, the rest is the exact same as HVC for me too. But the pins are slooooooow for me but as mentioned totally worth the time imo. And I never grew zaps because each time I've cleaned them up my undiagnosed ADHD has kicked in and I find other projects my discipline isn't the best...

Haha shit... Okay so they're HVC

Yep, so the spores aren't directly illegal but they changed the custom laws so that anything which is considered as "preparation of drug manufacturing" will be seized and prosecuted and you can't say it's for microscopy anymore unless you're an actual scientist.

---

When I started smoking hash I lived in a small town, always $10 for a gram, $80 for 10 grams and $650 for 100 grams and the quality was all over the place, so yeah that shit got old real fast

Growing cannabis was my first actual hobby and I got in real deep, man that is now 25 years ago It is a great hobby and I enjoyed it for 12 years and still miss it, I'll probably get back into it as soon as the kids get out the house

Love potion #1 was the best I ever had, which includes my 3 trips to Amsterdam, they don't sell the strain anymore, but I've been out of the game for so long I'm sure there is some great new strains out there. Love potion #1 was a 80/20 Sativa/Indica strain and flowered for 3 months before she was ready to be harvested.

Thanks, I can deal with 2 months for Tres Soles and if it's a better trip then HVC that's just a bonus as I think they look absolutely amazing. I'll never be no Mico Zapotec, but if I can get close I'll be a happy camper, just look at this beautiful mushroom and grow

Picture and grow by Micro Zapotec

And dude, can't believe you guys are getting fucked with the new spore law, it's so fucking lame I feel dumber just reading about it, sorry man
