Why is it so hard for people to disclose that they aren't single anymore?
    #29678239 -

Seriously this is so goddamn annoying. Worse: "Oh I'm in a relationship but we're not exclusive;)" followed by then getting shood out because oh wait. They're very much exclusive the other person just doesn't want to be.

Cause we stopped caring about morals because theyre associated with religion.  People dont want to be judged because they frankly want to be free to act as evil as possible.  Its only gonna get worse.

One of the worst near-misses of history was Buddhism not taking root in Greece. There's evidence of minor forays and it would've survived secularization much, much better. I hold no ill will toes Christianity but as you said it's an incredibly all or nothing type of deal so the moment it's out things that are associated with it even remotely just implode.

This is all by design.  Our societies are being engineered to be amoral because it makes the masses complacent and easily manipulated.

Because biologically we aren't designed to be monogamous.

Its extremely hard for me to disclose i'm in a relationship - because i'm not

I'm nonogamous: No- not seeing someone, No- not doing one night stands.

I really wish I had a significant other but, I'm one guy short of a duo. :crymeariver:

I'm single. Easy to say.
I'm also not looking for relationship or hookup. Open but not looking. Honestly less stress and b.s.

People become more base chakra as days go by. It will only become worse.

That article literally says we are biologically hardwired to engage in pair bonding and long term mating. Aka we are biologically designed to be monogomous. I was going to just explain the evolutionary and biological reasons why we are monogomous, aka why we are designed to be monogomous, but I am just going to say, read your own article where they say,
Quote:
We draw attention to the fact that the central element of the human mating system is the long-term breeding bonds (the pair-bond) between males and females which has a clear biological foundation in evolved physiological, neurobiological and psychological adaptations

The majority of women orgasm during rape and the majority of men consider 14 year olds attractive. Let's keep the naturalist arguments under wraps please. Evolution is incredibly ugly by modern standards.

I mean this too. I wouldn't say the majority of men find 14 year olds attractive. As I get older, I find that even like most 18-21 year olds aren't attractive, its like, ok she will be attractive when she's older. I noticed that in college. By my senior year, freshmen looked too young/not-developed enough to be attractive. I think that's the majority of men. Sure you can get a single edge case 14 year old girl who is developed behind her years, wearing makeup, etc. then ask a bunch of men if they find her attractive, and then put out a study that most men find 14 year old girls attractive, but if you do that enough, then you run into the reproducibility crisis that is plaguing science ever since sociology and psychology became taken seriously.

Humans also have a prefrontal cortex, which allows for complex reasoning and empathy. I refuse to cheat because I find it an objectionable thing to do to a trusting partner. Sure, I might find other women attractive and have biological responses to that attraction (like Id totally fuck that!!), but I can still say no. Just takes the brain up top. :smirk:
