Gonna go watch the FOOTBALL (read like the commentator from Family Guy) grand final with my dad up at the local. Might go to the sanctuary beforehand, or the gin distillery. Can't decide

I'm inoculating rye grain with treasure coast cubensis later today. First mushroom grow and I'm pretty excited. Running 7.5lbs of spawn/CVG mix total split into two monotubs.

They will be "the best" shrooms you've ever tried my man.

Enjoy the process.

Yep, alcohols before animals I always say.

Footy was great. The winning team came back from 38 points down in the last quarter to win. (For those who aren't familiar with Aussie rules, that is HUGE)

TPT: It's my second semester being back in college and I finally think I'm understanding how I need to study math, and it feels really good to actually understand it and not just try and memorize steps.

Also is a really cozy rainy Sunday during my favorite time of year (when Summer and Fall meet :inlove:

:inlove:

) and I'm watching X Files and drinking tasty coffee and cuddling with a kitty.

OPT: I was having a shitty day and was dragging ass on the way to muck the horse track only to find that my horses boss had taken care of it. She had no idea but it really took the sting out of my bad day.

Just got home from 2 days and nights at Riot Fest with my 3 rock princesses. We rocked out to The Pixies, The Descendents and Tool plus many more and they all crowd surfed for the first time.
I’ve always loved being their dad but never expected we could have so much fun together.

You seem like a kick ass dad. One of my fave experiences with my dad was seeing Foo Fighters with him in 2024.

Opt: about to eat dinner after no food for 24 hours. Wil be nice

We didn't catch them. The girls had us running between All American Rejects and The Pixies at that time

Thanks Ella. We been doing festivals since they were about 13 & 15
It always surprises me they like so many older bands

I don't think I've heard All American Rejects before, or the Pixies; I'll have to check them out.
