Tell me about your albino or leucistic mutations * 1
    #29670348 -

I am growing out my first naturally occuring albino/leucistic clone, Wild Australian Eungella

In my case, the original sub was contaminated with bacteria, blotch (pseudomonas most likely), took a while to get it clean enough to fruit. It's fruiting.

And it came out similar phenos to a bunch of TATs and APEs, things that the wild Australian would have literally none of. Full thick stipe, squat, small cap ratio.

The little half shoebox that is trying.

Original clone at bottom right on straw and bacterial, both likely contributing factors to the albino/leucistic mutation.

They are not sporulating. I tried swabbing, but there was no spores, so it's likely an actual albino not leucistic like I thought. A while later, the q-tips have DARK brusing on them, I guess I went too rough. What causes that bruising after the fact on the qtip?

Anyhow, I would like to hear about YOUR personal albino or leucistics that occured in your grows, what did the original mushroom look like? I'd love pics.

I'm wondering on what the absence of melanin affects the growing mushroom beyond the obvious lack of pigment. Apparently it helps make them stretchier and taller, which would help explain the tendency for short and squat.
