Albino A+ The Albino A+ is a unique cube.
According to Workman from www.sporeworks.com, the Albino A+ is a recent leucistic mutation of Mr. G's A Strain. This means it is not a true albino, just very pale, with almost white flesh. A true albino wouldn't have dark spores. A+ does. Albino A+ caps sometimes have a sharp nipple. Not a prolific fruiter, but better than most true albinos. Because of its dark spores, AA+ may be a good candidate for crossing with other cubes. If you are interested in albinos, but you want to print them easily, you may wish to look at Albino A+.

Where did the spores come from? They look very different from the AA+ I grew. Not that I'm questioning the strain, I'm sure it had something to do with genetics.

Yeah mine had super blue caps too, up until the caps started open, then they went full leucistic (more of a blue-gray), to be honest I like his AA+, visually, just as much as mine. They each have their interesting quirks.

Just do a late vermiculite casing throughout the tub. Nothing wrong with that.

hello, i know i'm replying to this post 2 years later but i'm a reptile breeder and can offer you some insight into leucistic and albino. Basically leucistic means that absolutely all color pigmentation has been bred out and whatever it is is white as snow. Google leucistic ball pythons. and you will see that they are white with black eyes. Now albino is an abnormality. it's a lack of certain color pigmintations. Google albino ball pythons and you will notice that they have red eyes, as well as the same patterns as normal ball pythons but instead of having color their skin is white and the patterns are yellow. tis the difference i'm not sure how it applies to mushrooms, and the mushrooms might only be named that because the creator of the strain (which probably bred them to be white unless they were found as such in the wild) was unaware of the term leucistic. either that or he just figured people would rather call it albino a+ instead of leucistic a+ (i think it sounds better). anyways. hope this helps :P
