We have some beautiful areas around here, but they are just too far form my home and I don't drive.

There is just nothing cool in my immediate area,  sadly.

It's nothing but people,  more people and tons of houses/businesses.

I'm trying to move out to the country away from all of this madness!

Yes,  there are literally thousands upon thousands of them where I hunt mushrooms and fish. Nine out of every ten trees in the forest are paw paws in this area and they are loaded down with fruits! I can't wait for them to ripen!

I have also dug up some small trees and brought them home. despite what they say about them being nearly impossible to transplant from the wild,  mine are all alive and doing quite well. I even grew some from last seasons seeds too. I just love them  :yesnod:

Just got back from a 2 night backpacking trip in the Hoh Rainforest.  Amazing, amazing place.  Spent both nights at Happy Four Camp right on the Hoh River bank and did day hiking on the second day towards Blue Glacier but never made it that far.  Saw a big elk, sooted grouse, and had an unknown visitor brush along the tent at night.  No bear sightings but bear evidence was around. 













Hope you all are having a beautiful summer of good weather, good scenery, and good health.
