A few days ago, I decided to make a tea with some Golden Teachers I acquired from, well, suppose I shouldn't say <3

My blend was about a spoonful of Fortnum and Mason Breakfast blend, a sugar cube, the ground up mush, and a squeeze of lemon juice.

I had a very mild experience, when it really started to become apparent that I had in fact made the tea the correct way, I was laying in bed with an eye mask on, dogs at my feet.

It felt much different from the other trips I've taken, those being rather overwhelming and unpleasant (understatement of the year).

I was staring at the back of my eyelids, and it came in waves, peaks and valleys of feeling normal and the patchwork of reality kinda, stretching itself.

Visually, it looked like if you've ever tried stretching out a thin piece of fabric, and between the individual threads there was so much color, nothing of substance I could make out but just. Color.

My body felt both heavy and weightless, the blankets felt so, so strange on my skin, and while it was unpleasant at times, I have learned it is better to just say "Yes" to the trip, and everything that comes with it, rather than trying to fight unpleasantness, or pain.

My mind drifted, I can't quite remember anything in particular I thought about, themes of loving my animals and my friends, and hoping my dogs knew that they were dearly loved.

I'm not quite sure when it ended, though eventually I wound up drifting off to sleep and waking up refreshed. These last few days have been wonderful for me, I've had a renewed interest in, well everything!

Cleaned my house, worked on my computer setup, got more materials for my own grows, and I'm looking forward to the day I get to try mushrooms I grew myself.
