It is thought provoking for sure and I appreciate the share. I have thought about such things, such as Archons being obstacles to overcome, and as teachers in a sort of way, however the nature of their being is seemingly absent of the light which is ultimately incomprehensible to them by their very design. There are some realms of thought that do allow Archons to change sides so to speak, like in the Hypostasis of the Archons, or The Conversion of Sabaoth, which are specific realms of thought requiring true repentance, that would allow for an archon to change sides and align with the divine, although this is the exception rather than the rule. I think it is difficult for such a thing to happen, especially if their life force is built on negative energies gained from human suffering. It seems much safer to consider them all as enemies of enlightenment, so that one doesn't succumb to trickery employed by them, such as masquerading as an angel of light.

Abraxas is another example of bridging the duality, who is sometimes viewed as a facilitator of gnosis, rather then an inherent enemy of enlightenment or prison keeper.

I think the bodhisattva vow, as it is generally translated, is fanciful at best. You can't help those that don't want help and some might prefer the darkness. Rather than "all beings", it would be more applicable to receptive humans, in which case it would make sense to me. I've not  heard of bodhisattva descending into the hell realm to retrieve souls!?. In the event that one did master the spiritual arts, and became powerful enough to do such a thing on multiple occasions, that would be quite the feat.

In the past negative emotions were seen as more of a prison, for trapping the divine spark, but some modern views, such as by Robert Monroe, interprets it more literally, as energy parasites that feed off "loosh" which is used to sustain themselves. That's one example as to why they demand sacrifices from their servants, in which the dark wizards, feel obligated to abide for powers. Generally the Dark wizards are hollow themselves, and rely on the Archons for powers.

Love the bit about Abraxas! The Great Reconciler of Opposites, huh

I'm familiar with the idea of loosh and Robert Monroe's horrifying astral trip when we saw that this was a prison planet. Reminds me of a talk Ram Dass gave where he talked about different models of reality. Earth could be a prison and we are fighting for freedom, and maybe that is useful for those on a certain stage of the path. Even his guru, Maharaji, supposedly said just before he died that he was leaving "Central Jail" forever.

But he also talked about the idea of Earth being a school. In his conversations with the entity Emmanuel, he was told "you're in school, why don't you take the curriculum?" and Ram Dass interpreted as meaning that he was trying to hard to "get high" I.e. ascend to higher planes, and he needed to let himself go through the human experience fully.

Then there's Michael Newton's Journey of Souls work, with the repeating theme that our souls actually designed our incarnations from the safety of their Home in the timeless realm of eternity.

Regarding bodhisattvas and hell realms:
Quote:
Kṣitigarbha (known as Jizō in Japan or Dìzàng in China) is the primary bodhisattva renowned for the vow to enter hell realms and refrain from Buddhahood until all hells are emptied. He vows to save all beings in the six worlds, particularly those in deepest torment, serving as their guardian.

Key Aspects of Kṣitigarbha (Earth Store Bodhisattva):
The "Great Vow": He pledged, "If I do not go to the hell to help the suffering beings there, who else will go?". He vows to empty the hells of all beings, particularly between the death of Gautama Buddha and the rise of Maitreya.
Appearance: Unlike other celestial bodhisattvas, he is usually depicted as a simple Buddhist monk with a shaved head, symbolizing his presence among suffering beings.

Attributes: He holds a wish-fulfilling jewel
in one hand to illuminate the darkness, and a staff
to open the gates of hell.
Role in Buddhism: He is deeply revered in Mahayana Buddhism for his boundless compassion in protecting sinners, the deceased, and children.

His vows and stories are detailed in the Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva Fundamental Vow Sutra, a crucial text in East Asian Buddhism.

And finally, from ACIM:
Quote:
Consider how well the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of the motives of others will serve you then. ⁷Having taught you to accept only loving thoughts in others and to regard everything else as an appeal for help, He has taught you that fear itself is an appeal for help. ⁸This is what recognizing fear really means. ⁹If you do not protect it, He will reinterpret it. ¹⁰That is the ultimate value in learning to perceive attack as a call for love. ¹¹We have already learned that fear and attack are inevitably associated. ¹²If only attack produces fear, and if you see attack as the call for help that it is, the unreality of fear must dawn on you. ¹³For fear _is_ a call for love, in unconscious recognition of what has been denied. https://acim.org/acim/en/s/155#8:6-13

I thought you might like Abraxas. I personally think of it as a neutral bridge between realms rather than an all encompassing being. Like a mediator between them. For example, transmuting hate into inner fire.

It kind of reminds me of this shiva/shakti image:
