@Dala & Klarn - Wishing you both smooth recoveries. Good luck today Klarn. You got this. Been there with my right shoulder and having trouble wiping my ass after surgery. My job wouldn’t approve me back to work for 5 months after tearing up my rotator cuff on the job. I needed 5 anchors to hold it back on. I did get a whole paid summer off though. 12 years later it’s better than new. I hope yours does the same.

Second one arrived and I transplanted it straight into the storm.
Looks vigorous and healthy.

I say that because the bottom was completely covered in roots to a point where I needed to try and carefully use scissors and cut the bottom of the container off of it.

Okay, that is not all. Too succinct.

Why did I think that starting a business was a cool way to simi-retire? And why in hell did I go back into IT. I hate tech support after all these years. It is nice to have work and a paycheck and all, but I was supposed to have more time for doing shit I love. Not baby sitting migrations and fixing technological psychosis.

The only psychs and psychos I want to hang out with are here on this forum. I wish I could self ban from the other stuff and hang out here with all the other weirdos. Anyway, miss you all. I will be back more when I can.

Thanks for asking but I have not. I’ve been facing some things head on and actually making some progress, which is good news. And I haven’t had the big block of time to set aside doing a macro properly.

Hopefully a good headspace and a block of time align soon and I can take it on.

I confess, someone blocked me a while back but it's been undone. I have no qualms just a curious desire to know what I did and how I was able to shake it off. You can shame me, mystery blocker... shower me in shame... not talking about pee lol

Ah man, I got one block a while back. It was like a badge of honor. It’s still there. Couldn’t figure out who or why. Maybe my babbling, maybe my talk about sex. Maybe I pissed in the wrong person’s Cheerios that day. Who knows, who cares. For me, I don’t care enough to block anyone because I just keep scrolling. It’s just not that serious.

Honestly, one ignore could just be an accidental slip of the finger.

I'm surprised I don't have more, but I'm pretty sure I picked them all up in Political Discussion and The Pub.

I think it's a site feature that should be normalized. Better to hit the ignore button than get sucked into a neverending flame war. The list of accounts I have on ignore is quite long, but it's largely just a thing to help me manage my reading. It's tiresome to keep track of ALL the people that I have on "mental ignore." It's also easy to forget that someone already wasted a bunch of my time when they turn up again 6 months later. Sometimes I have to log out to read a thread because it becomes incomprehensible, but at least that keeps me from hamster-wheeling out with the reply button.

Again, this ain't Meta, anything that helps people step away from the dopamine-cort8sol cycle should be encouraged. Ignores on your account shouldn't be taken personally, and anyway, we're all putting up rookie numbers compared to Anne Halonium lol
