Hey. @nokumana.  If you're around or when you happen to see this if you do. I saw the other day you were asking about where you could purchase pp5 reusable Petri dishes without having to buy a 500 pack.

I had linked two sites to you that sell 20 packs.

However it completely skipped my mind. I actually have maybe 80 to 100 of them that I don't really use anymore.

If you're still trying to get a hold of some. I'd be happy to let you have mine

I just need to clean them out. they are  currently storing my mold/contam collection.

Yo Hip!  Thanks so much for the thought. I'll DM you!

So when my cat wakes me at 5am every day I'm a bit...:fatfear:

But then -

So I calm down - make a coffee - roll a spliff, Nd' I have to admit I get my best thinking done between 5:30-7:00am. I think it has to do with having a fresh head from the previous days troubles while also having enough of a buffet time in front of you with nothing "planned" or even expected that you can think clearly.

Potentially...

Anyway good morning good townspeople!

I’ve never been a big fan of weed. Not sure why; maybe it’s a brain chemistry thing. I mean, sometimes it can be chill, I guess. However, there are times it’s like time has been shot out of a cannon onto a puzzle board of schizophrenia. The spectrum is just way too big for me.

So when you guys talk about all this “thinking” stuff after ripping weed darts, I’m always just left wondering…how? My wife gave me a gummy a few months back that I swear was one of the most chaotic highs I’ve ever had. I could hardly put a sentence together! Am I doing it wrong?

For sure brain chemistry mate, you most likely already produce more than enough cannabinoids or something, my mum was on heroin, amphetamine and smoking weed when pregnant with me so I'm lacking in chemistry all over the place.

I've regulated my brain chemistry from my teens years, if it wasn't for psychedelics I might've ended up a serial killer or something, I didn't initially have proper emotions and when I realised what was "different" they helped me sorta create them.

These are definitely ancient tools of wisdom, we've been shit out for a reason as a population.

My name is Dr Derple, Derple Hergylerg.

You're not doing it wrong, it's just a tolerance / exposure thing. Smoke enough weed and it just oils the motor. Same as with everything. Gobble up a lot of acid every weekend and you'll find a lot of acid pretty manageable.

Every other week I have the kids five days in a row. The first joint I smoke after those five days really throws me to the ground. Thoughts racing, giggling, zooted as a mfer. Four days later I can smoke three joints in a row and barely anything happens.

The breaks keep the fun in it, in other words. Most substances are pretty interesting until you get to that point. Most people have alarming tolerances towards their fave drugs. The people around me who drink daily need tremendous amounts to get drunk. With ketamine that's even exaggerated. Like 5+ grams a day.

So yeah. Point being. I like to keep myself really clean with most substances, so if and when I use them, they hit with maximum velocity. With weed I'm just a junkie, but the effect I'm looking for is exactly what you describe. Chaos and disorder. The quiet contemplation part is involuntary.

This nonsense was written while taking a dump and waiting for the dispensary to open. Can't for the life of me figure out what it is, but I've had Lebanese / Syrian / Palestinian / Yemenite Jewish food for four days in a row and every morning I recieve punishment for it. I'd take a pic if I thought I'd get away with it.

Oh and I confess, again, that I dropped the Gymn jar. Substrate all over everything. Had to set up SAB and clone my prematurely fallen heroes. God damn what a retard. Also, I confess that I have so many damn shoeboxes with colonizing chips hanging around that I didn't know which to spawn and instead fled to the wife's place.

Four cups of coffee and flatbread with hummus. Sex and some marzipan on the side. The weed was all gone, I just came back from the coffeeshop / dispensary.

The plans for the weekend: we're going to the Botanical Gardens tomorrow, with my sister and nephew. Today I'm going to nose dive into the ground and lay on my back like a beetle.

What are your plans, oh sketchpad?

Some marijuana claims to be at 36% concentration of THC.
:inbread:
Try smoking mid stuff that's around 22%. That's not nearly as intense of a journey. Weed is different some people just don't enjoy it. There's nothing wrong with that.

I've been smoking weed and hash for almost 40 years now, at frequencies ranging from once im a blue moon to several times daily. Dabbing concentrates and the like has been a thing for about the past 20 years. Edibles have been a thing pretty much the whole time, though definitely much more so in the last 25 years or so.

I can't even begin to describe all the changes I've experienced over the decades. In terms of overall potency, sure, but also qualitative differences between different strains and sources. But what's more relevant here is the ways that my brain chemistry and psychology have shifted over the years.

Long story short, you're not wrong to see cannabis as an incredibly potent substance which does, in fact, also count as a hallucinogen in my book. I myself don't really understand how I can blaze with reckless abandon these days, and I wouldn't be shocked if I suddenly went back to "Oh, fuck, way too high, shitshitshit" mode.

And it's absolutely not just about the THC. Pure THC concentrates still disorient the fuck out of me, while the potent landrace stuff I've smoked just keeps getting me higher with no ill effects. Caveat emptor has never been a bigger thing in the cannabis world than it is today. For all the propaganda around "you never know what you're gonna get buying from criminal organizations," we pretty much always knew exactly what we were getting back in the olden days. Now, we got unstable F1 hybrids being marketed as "new strains." Absolute crapshoot bullshit. And don't get me started on the cures. That also has a huge impact on terpene profile and overall effects. I'd rather have slightly ammonia-smelling brickweed than some of the crap that looks and smells great but smokes and hits like who-knows-what. If I recall correctly, there's even a passage in "On The Road" where he talks about Dean Moriarty getting ahold of some immature poorly cured weed and going a little nuts.

I just properly rinsed my grains, like 4-5 times till the water was looking real clear. Now im simmering. Doing it different, used to soak for hours then boil for 10 minutes. This time just rinse and simmer till done.

The simmering water is not nasty and bubbly and not that strong of a smell. Why did I only rinse once before and call it good?

I'm not quite sure what you're saying..

but only rinse as much as necessary. Some grains are a lot dirtier than others.. some come extremely clean.

it just depends on the source.

I get mine from a local feed shop.

which you would expect would be extremely dirty..

but it's actually very clean.  I don't rinse it at all. Maybe once sometimes.

And yes soaking is outdated. A good simmer or boil until they're Tender Is perfect.

I'm saying before this time I rinsed and drained one time, regardless of how dirty the water was.  And then when I would boil a lot of foamy bubbly stuff would come to the top of the water.

So this time I rinsed and drained until the water I was draining wasn't all murky and brown. I think it made a big difference.

When I started rinsing again AFTER the overnight soak, BEFORE simmering, foul odors and general cleanup were vastly reduced. My PC water used to come out all oily and weird after a run. Now, between the extra rinse and the replacement of rusty jar lids with un-rustable crushed aluminum cans, everything is much cleaner and easier to deal with.

I have a hard time with how much water is involved but I want to clean up my process as much as possible. I get the oily water left over too I didnt know why it was there.
