We oversold one of the satellite beams, the solution was attrition. Eventually enough people would get tired of the shitty service and cancel.

We also had too many office computers hooked up to our line. So not only were we supporting a slow service, we had slow service on our end.

A very frustrating job. About the only perk was that our supervisors were not trained technicians, but rather supervisors. So when folks would get mad and ask to speak to my supervisor, the supervisor would explain to them you were already talking to the expert let me put them back on the phone
